What is Sublimation Printing?

Dye-sublimation, a powerful printing method, employs intense pressure and heat to transfer artwork directly onto fabric. This enables printing custom graphics on a diverse array of materials.

Key Advantages:

  • Sublimated designs are permanent, as the ink permeates and becomes a part of the material itself.
  • Images will never peel or fade.
  • The fabric can be washed if necessary without damaging the design quality.
  • The colors are consistent and vibrant and will match the tones of the original artwork.

Previously an option used primarily for our table covers and pillows, the entirety of our fabric line is now printed via this method, including our Step and Repeat Banners, SEG Banners, Hop-ups, and more. If the banner has a fabric option, it is printed with dye-sublimation.

Step and Repeat Banners / Press Walls

SEG Frame Banners - Silicone Edge Graphics

Silicone edge graphic systems (SEGS) are composed of a silicone-edged banner inserted into an aluminum frame. Created using the dye-sublimation process, banners feature-rich graphics that will not peel or fade (indoor use only). By inserting the banner into the frame, the fabric is pulled taut, resulting in a glare-free, seamless appearance. Banners are also interchangeable and you can trade them out without dismantling the frame.

Setup and Storage

  • SEGs are simple to set up and tear down and most can be moved by a two-person team.
  • Unlike many other large displays, you can break them down into smaller pieces to reduce shipping costs and maximize storage space. They also do not need professional installation.
